E-VISA REQUIREMENTS

A summary of things to know when applying for an e-Visa:

1The e-Visa is a single entry electronic travel permit valid for 3 months.
2The e-Visa offers a single stay in Cambodia for a maximum of 30 days.
3If you leave Cambodia prior the 30 days, you will not be able to re-enter the Kingdom with the same document. You will need to obtain new travel permit in order to pass the border.
4Visitors’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months starting with the date of the arrival to the Kingdom of Cambodia. The passports must also contain at least one blank page.
5If you need to stay longer than 30 days, we highly recommend you to apply for a regular visa at the consular services of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
6Please note that not every point of entry accepts and supports the e-Visa. You can check the ports supporting the electronic travel permit (e-Visa) at our FAQs section.
7Although not every port supports the e-Visa system, you can leave the country through every single point holding the electronic document.
8We highly recommend you to make a copy of your travel permit and your passport and to hold them with you during the whole stay in the Kingdom.

PASSPORT PICTURE REQUIREMENTS

A summary of passport picture requirements:

1A centered full-face and hair photo with no borders;
2Neurtal white / light gray background;
3No shades are accepted on the face or on the background;
4The photograph must represent a recent image and should be no more than six months old;
5The photograph should be different from the one on the applicant’s passport.
6No accessories that would hide part of the head like sunglasses and hats are accepted.
7If you are wearing any kind of religious symbols like Hijab or Kippah, feel free to keep it.
8The photograph should be different from the one on the applicant’s passport.
9It must be a JPEG or PNG format picture with width to height pixel ratio: 800×1200.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

We highly recommend you to set all details regarding your trip to Cambodia prior to apply for the e-Visa. Please note that not every port supports the electronic travel authorization (e-Visa) system. Check here which points of entry do accept the electronic travel permit.

Please note that your kids, as long as they are under 12 years old and are travelling under your passport, do not need to apply for an e-Visa.
